I missed karaoke due to work - hope you guys had fun! I have always wanted to check out the Golden Cicada, too...I will morph into a regular softball, book club, and karaoke gal after 4/15. I decided to celebrate my bday in JC tomorrow night rather than the original Saturday plan (I'm celebrating all weekend, actually). Tomorrow night I'm hanging out with a friend who shares the same bday, along with a another friend from work. We are starting out at White Star tomorrow (Fri) around 8:30 - if you want to stop by for a beer it would be fun to meet you and your friends. I colored my hair red/auburn recently so you will find me pretty easily I'm sure. Hope you had a good week! - M

A 4/15 party sounds awesome! Also, my 35th birthday is 2/12 so I'm inviting a couple people to hang out in JC on Saturday night; I didn't organize a big bash this year but I want to hang in JC probably at White Star (I love the 80's music they play) If anyone wants to join me, that would be fun. Is there karyoke anywhere around JC?

I figured I would sign up for everything interesting to me and see which ones I can attend with my schedule. I love softball and have been playing for years...book club sounds great also. I have been meaning to meet more JC people for awhile and you guys seem like a fun (and hopefully welcoming) bunch from reading the posts.
I work in tax (yawn) so I'm really tied up most evenings and Saturdays until April 15th...but I will do my best to attend events until then.
